Contact Hours Given support
Email creatormarketinggroup@gmail.com and include the app version, iOS version, device model, the exact on-screen message, and the steps that led to the problem. Do not send an exported archive unless support explicitly asks for a narrow diagnostic artifact and you choose to share it.
In version 1.1, open You → Data & Privacy → Help & Feedback to write a message and preview it before email sharing. Screenshots and app/device details are optional; your activity archive and logs are not automatically included. Cancellation or failure keeps the local draft. If Mail is not configured, copy or share the prepared report with an email app you use. See the feedback privacy section for access, retention and deletion details.
Purchases, restore, and billing
Premium options do not load
- Confirm the device is online and signed in to the App Store.
- Close and reopen the Premium screen, then choose Retry.
- If Apple services remain unavailable, continue with Free features and try again later.
Restore Purchases
- Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Open You → Premium → Restore Purchases.
- Complete Apple authentication if requested.
A “no current Premium entitlement” message means no currently granting Premium entitlement was returned. It is not a new charge or proof that you never made a prior purchase.
Manage or cancel
Use Manage Subscription in the app or Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting Hours Given data or the app does not cancel a subscription.
Optional private iCloud backup
The app’s Backup card reports whether the required private CloudKit container is available. Your local archive remains primary. If backup is unavailable, check that iCloud is enabled for the device and Apple Account, confirm connectivity, then retry after the app reports the service available.
If the app says this archive has contained Apple Health or Motion evidence, the entire archive remains off iCloud. Removing one interval does not reset that privacy boundary because derived material can outlive its source. Raw export remains available; only Delete All resets the content-free marker.
Conflicting local and cloud versions require a choice. Read the dates and record summaries carefully and export the local record before replacing either version. Backup is not continuous multi-device sync or a guarantee against loss.
Export, correction, and deletion
In version 1.1, raw JSON export, a readable archive summary, correction, and deletion remain available without Premium. Export a copy before deleting the app, replacing a device, or choosing a backup conflict resolution.
Delete All removes the local archive and attempts to remove a reachable, known private iCloud copy. If cloud deletion cannot be confirmed, keep the app installed, restore iCloud/network availability, and retry. Deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Calendar, Motion, voice, and notifications
Permission can be denied or changed later in iOS Settings. Calendar and Motion context appears only after an explicit action and remains an editable suggestion. Voice reconstruction works only where Apple reports on-device support; typed reconstruction remains separate. Notifications are optional local reminders controlled by iOS.
Display and motion support
Hours Given responds to iOS text size, Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency, Increase Contrast, and automatic Light/Dark appearance, and uses non-color-only state cues in its primary flows. If a control clips, becomes unreachable, or a state becomes unclear, report the screen, text size, system setting, and steps to reproduce it through the monitored launch contact.
System requirements and service status
Hours Given supports iPhone and iPad on iOS or iPadOS 17 and later. Specific optional features depend on the device, OS version, locale, Apple Account, permissions, and Apple service availability.
Hours Given has no public service-status dashboard in V1 because the primary record is local and the app has no developer backend. StoreKit, iCloud, and other Apple-service incidents can be checked on Apple’s System Status page.
